Baby Vance Allen has arrived!

Born at 5:30 p.m. 8/18/09. He was 8 lbs 12.6 oz and 20 ½” long. Congratulations Jason, Nicky, and Shep!

From HI to CA

Our transition from Hawaii to California has been very smooth. After selling/giving/and shipping all of our belongings in Hawaii, we went to TN for a week. Jesse was in Ernie Lorea's wedding - it was so beautiful! Then we were up to IN for a week to see the Hoosier fam. This is Jesse's beautiful sister - Amy.

We arrived in Redding, CA on February 26. We immediately started looking for housing, and found a 2 bedroom townhouse on Hilltop Drive. It has been a great place to live - it has a great view of Mount Shasta (last picture) and is in a quiet neighborhood. Jessica started her job in May working part time at Redding Rancheria Indian Healthcare Clinic as a RD/CDE. It is a pleasure working with this community of people.

We have finished our membership class at Bethel & another class called "Firestarters". These classes lay the foundation of Bethel beliefs and culture. We feel we have grown so much during this short period of time. You can check out more about Bethel at: http://www.ibethel.org/
